The article that I chose is about the workers at the docks who are on strike. The workers went on a strike a while back, and they believe that they have a good reason for going on strike. They have continued to strike despite the fact that they are getting pressure from many people to go back to work. Dockworkers throughout the west coast have been on strike. Even though there are many people who are pressuring them to go back to work. They have not been working for a while now, and much produce has been rotting on the docks because no one will unload the cargo. The dockworkers have even gone as far as to stop a container ship that was leaving Oakland, with their small boats they blocked the way out. I believe that this is Level 3 because they believe that this is a moral thing, and they are striking because they feel they have no other option and they are trying to get a point across. I think this is Stage 6, because they are consistent with the principles that they have chosen.
