The Magna Carta will affect the future governments of England by allowing many people rights that weren't allowed before it. Also, the Magna Carta will keep anybody from the royal family from abusing their power. Not only do the people get rights and freedoms, but eventually, the average person could hold office. There are many things that continue to evolve, and grow in England. The country becmoes more and more Democratic. Also the Parliament has kept the monarchy from having too much power. The Magna Carta also gave nobles certain rights, and it also eventually gave all the rights the nobles had to the citizens. It also said that the monarchy must obey the law, that they don't have a special exception, and that they will be treated like anyone else. The Magna Carta also made the king agree not to raise new taxes, unless they consulted the Great Council of lords and clergy.
